While visiting Washington, D.C. in early March, Congresswoman Norma Torres met with Inland Action members to discuss our federal legislative platform. Inland Action Chair Louis Goodwin introduced our delegation and welcomed Congresswoman Torres and her legislative aide. The discussion covered, among other things, the urgent need to delay or eliminate Medicaid Disproportionate-Share Hospital (DSH) Cuts as well as the importance of funding for federal workforce training initiatives, particular to address the shortage of qualified aircraft mechanics in the Inland Empire.
