On September 7th, 2022, Congressman Pete Aguilar hosted a roundtable discussion with Department of Commerce Undersecretary for Economic Affairs, Jed Kolko. The discussion centered around business-related economic conditions in the region. The potential for economic development in several sectors was discussed, with an emphasis on the unique needs of the Inland Empire.
