RE: Southern California Edison Alberhill System Project – SUPPORT

This letter is to express Inland Action’s support for Southern California Edison’s efforts to improve the electrical reliability and accessibility for southwestern Riverside County. Inland Action is a non-profit, non-partisan corporation of public-spirited leaders who have joined together to be catalysts for the economic well-being of the Inland Empire region of California since 1962.
The Inland region is one of the fastest growing Metropolitan Statistical Areas in the nation, currently ranking 12th in the nation. This unprecedented growth has more than doubled the population in the southwestern Riverside County in the past few decades. This vibrant community now features a thriving business sector, wineries, the Pechanga Casino, and a booming housing sector. Such growth is only possible with reliable electric power. The Alberhill System Project will help bolster regional economic growth in ways that accommodate and strengthen local businesses and residents by improving reliability.
