Present: Dimitrios Alexiou, Deborah Barmack, Peter Barmack, Ken Coate, Bill Easley, Ron Griffin, Dick Hart, Mark Kaenel, Lowell King, Sue McKee, John Mirau, Lou Monville, Kristive Scott, Wendy Strack, Phil Waller and A.J. Wilson.
Announcements: 1) The advocacy trip to Sacramento is planned for Tuesday, May 20, 2014 with the option of arriving on Monday, May 19th. Reservation forms have been sent by e-mail. Please respond by April 22, 2014 if you will participate on the trip. 2) Committees were asked to create a list of who they would like to meet with while on the Sacramento trip. 3) On Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 5:30p.m., the Randall Lewis seminar series at UC Riverside will feature speakers Greg Devereaux and Jay Orr speaking about “What lies ahead for Inland Southern California”.
Ken Coate gave a summary of the recent Sea to Sierra train tour and seminar on California water issues held by the Water Conservation Foundation.

The following legislation was summarized and discussed:
Support of SB 1129
Inland Action has adopted a position in support of SB 1129, which addresses several important issues affecting redevelopment dissolution.
Support of SB 1190
Inland Action has adopted a position in support of SB 1190, which would fund the fifty judge positions authorized by the California legislature in 2007.
Oppose AB 2574
Inland Action has adopted a position in opposition to AB 2574, which would authorize Los Angeles METRO to operate a future extension of the Gold Line light rail project in San Bernardino County to Ontario International Airport, beyond the present authorized half mile segment to Montclair.
Letters will be sent to the Inland Empire Legislative Delegation.
Committees were asked to break out into their respective groups to discuss Sacramento issues.
