Re: Community Project Fund Fiscal Year 2027- City of Rancho Cucamonga Workforce Development and Business Incubator

Inland Action, Inc. is pleased to offer support for the Community Project Fund application submitted by the City of Rancho Cucamonga for National Community Renaissance (“National CORE”) to build out dedicated CORE Academy instructional and hospitality “living lab” space within the historic d’Ellena winery property – a designated local historical landmark in Rancho Cucamonga  that supports workforce training.

The revitalized site will serve as a state-of-the-art home for CORE Academy programs, creating clear career pathways in hospitality, winery operations, food service, property management, real estate, and construction trades.

  • In just one year, the CORE Academy programs are projected to train 140 residents in California’s 33rd Congressional District, supporting the City’s and District’s objectives to boost economic mobility and strengthen the local economy.
  • Programs are offered at no cost to participants, ensuring equitable access to workforce training and career advancement.

As a non-profit, non-partisan organization, Inland Action’s sole purpose is to support the economic well-being and growth of the Inland Empire. This project is in alignment with our mission statement and our advocacy focus.

In closing, we respectfully request your support in securing funding for the winery workforce development and incubator project to transform the historic d’Ellena Winery into a culinary and workforce development hub.    We appreciate your consideration.

Sincerely,

Julie Michaels
