On June 27, 2021 Inland Action met San Bernardino County Sheriff Shannon Dicus to learn about the Department’s Homeless Outreach Proactive Enforcement (HOPE) Team. Deputy Mike Jones gave an overview of the program’s goals of reducing calls for service and other resources required when dealing with the homeless population. Sheriff Dicus was appointed Sheriff July 7, 2021.
