On September 1, 2020 Matt McCardle, Senior Manager, Aviation Public Policy for Amazon Air met with members of Inland Action. Mr. McCardle spoke about the move that Amazon has made into air cargo and about their project which is under construction at San Bernardino International Airport. This is the first new aviation project to come to SBIA since its conversion to civilian use in 1994. It will have a major economic benefit to the region.
