January 20, 2026: Inland Action met with Peter Baker, Senior Vice President and Administrator of Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital and Meg Rickard, Development Officer for the Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital Foundation. Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital is one of only eight children’s hospitals in California serving approximately 1.2 million children across Riverside and San Bernardino Counties with 75% covered by Medi-Cal/Medicaid. The new Specialty Clinics Building broke ground in November 2024 and is on track to complete construction in August 2026. The new building will allow families to have coordinated care that requires multiple specialists such as neurosurgeons, plastic surgeons, speech therapists, dietitians, audiologists, and occupational therapists all under one roof.
