On May 2, 2023 Inland Action met with Tony Tavares, Director, California Department of Transportation. The Director briefed members on the Department’s operating principles, which include safety, equity, climate action, and economic prosperity. California will benefit from the National Infrastructure Bill with emphasis on roads, rail an transit.
