On Thursday, August 3, 2023, Governor Gavin Newson’s Appointments Secretary visited the Valley College Campus to discuss the opportunities and process for applying to State Boards and Commissions. The Governor has made the Inland Empire a focus for appointments and the Secretary urged those in attendance to work within their communities to find citizens willing to be a part of this important aspect of service to our State. Representing Inland Action were Lowell King, Goodwill Southern California; Kristine Scott, So Cal Gas; Thomas Rice, Best Best & Krieger; and Carole Beswick, Inland Action.
