On September 15, 2020 Inland Action met with California Air Resources Board Member Barbara Riordan. CARB has passed a rule that all commercial trucks and vans sold in the state in 2045 must be zero-emission. This rule is an important step in moving the industry away from dirty, harmful diesel engines that currently power most of these vehicles and is the first of its kind in the United States.
