Inland Action Positions on Important Issues:
- OPPOSE- Letter of Opposition to Budget Cuts to CSU and UC Universities (6/10/2025) - OPPOSE- 6/10/25 - Inland Action opposes cuts to CSU and UC budgets. We recognize the fiscal challenges facing the state, but cutting CSU and UC funding will have long-term consequences for California’s workforce, economy, and communities. In the Inland Empire, these cuts would be particularly harmful. CSU San Bernardino and UC Riverside are critical institutions for regional progress.
- SUPPORT- Letter of Support for Delta Conveyance Process Bill (6/5/2025) - SUPPORT- 6/5/25 - Inland Action has joined almost 120 organizations in support for the budget trailer bill that is intended to streamline processes for advancing the Delta Conveyance Project.
- OPPOSE- Letter of Opposition to Proposed Amended Rules 1111 and 1121 (6/4/2025) - OPPOSE- 6/3/25 - Inland Action opposes the proposed amendments to Rules 1111 and 1121. While Inland Action, Inc. has long advocated for efforts to clean our region’s air in practical and innovative ways, the proposed amendments to Rules 1111 and 1121 are not the answer.
- SUPPORT- Letter of Support to Protect Medicaid Funding for Working Adults and the Business Community (5/20/2025) - SUPPORT- 5/14/25 - Inland Action has joined local business leaders in support of the foundational importance of Medicaid health insurance for working adults in the Inland Empire (Riverside and San Bernardino counties of California).
- SUPPORT- Letter of Support for CPF FY 2026 Grace Vista (5/17/2025) - SUPPORT- 4/16/25 - Inland Action supports City of Jurupa Valley’s FYE 2026 Community Project Fund (CPF) application to fund important infrastructure, corridor frontage, and safety improvements on Mission Boulevard in the City’s historic Glen Avon community.
- SUPPORT- Letter of Support for CPF FY 2026 Vista Verde II (5/17/2025) - SUPPORT- 3/19/25 - Inland Action supports the resubmitted 2025 application for Vista Verde II located in Ontario, California. Submitted by the City of Ontario for National Community Renaissance (“National CORE”), construction will include a 150-unit affordable housing community known as Vista Verde II. This housing community will complement the existing Vista Verde 101-unit affordable housing apartment home development National CORE built in 2021.
- SUPPORT- Letter of Support for CPF FY 2026 Los Regina Winery (5/17/2025) - SUPPORT- 3/17/25 - Inland Action supports the FYE 2026 Community Project Fund application for the City of Rancho Cucamonga’s application to fund National Community Renaissance (“National CORE’s”) Regina Cultural Enrichment and Workforce Training Center via a planned adaptive reuse of the Joseph Filippi Winery historically known as the Regina/Ellena Brothers Winery.
- SUPPORT- Letter of Support for Ontario International Airport’s Fiscal Year 2026 Congressionally Directed Spending Request (5/17/2025) - SUPPORT- 2/25/25 - Inland Action supports the Ontario International Airport’s (ONT) Fiscal Year 2026 Congressionally directed spending request. The Ontario International Airport International Arrivals Facility Modernization project will enhance the safety and security of the traveling public at this very important United States Port of Entry, along with addressing aging infrastructure, providing adequate facilities to satisfy current and future demand, and improving the passenger experience for all international travelers arriving at ONT.

- SUPPORT- Visit California Rural Marketing Program Regional Representation FY25-28 – Inland Empire (5/17/2025) - SUPPORT- 2/25/25 Inland Action is pleased to support GOCAL’s (Greater Ontario California) response to Visit California’s Request for Bids: Rural Marketing Program Regional Representation for FY25-28.
- SUPPORT- HR 9625 / S 4199 – Letter of Support for the Judges Act (5/17/2025) - SUPPORT- 12/6/24 - HR 9625/S 4199. The bill will add nine critically needed new judgeships in the Central District of California, serving the Inland Empire as well as five other Southern California counties. It will also address the need for additional judgeships in the other districts in California, as well as in several other states, all in accordance with the judicial needs survey and analysis by the Judicial Conference of the United States.

- SUPPORT- Request for LHC to Create a Report on Air Quality Timelines and Compliance Solutions (5/17/2025) - SUPPORT- 10/25/24 - Request for LHC to to investigate the current regulations and compliance deadlines, as well as the feasibility of compliance on the part of the affected businesses and make recommendations for reasonable solutions.
