On September 14, 2021 Inland Action met with Dr. Erica Pan, California State Epidemiologist, who provided a COVID-19 update. She gave a trends update, discussed vaccinated vs unvaccinated rates and provided an overview of key interventions. She emphasized the importance of community partners in increasing vaccination rates. She also presented California Department of Public Health Guidance on face coverings, as this is a critical component of stoping the spread of the virus. Workplace vaccination is an important opportunity for broadening vaccination rates and the Department can assist with these.
