Present: Don Averill, Deborah Barmack, Carole Beswick, Tom Brickley, Erin Brinker, Ann Bryan, Ken Coate, Bill Easley, Ray Gonzales, Dick Hart, Mark Kaenel, Lowell King, Bill Lemann, Temetry Lindsay, Neil Macready, John Mirau, Tom Nightingale, Bev Powell, Kristine Scott, Larry Sharp, Paul Shimoff, Shelli Stockton, AJ Wilson and Ray Wolfe.

Announcements: 1) Western States Petroleum Association (WSPA) has been proposed for membership. Patty Senecal, Manager, Southern California Region & Infrastructure Issues would serve as their representative. Members will vote next week. 2) A reception to celebrate Inland Action’s 50th Anniversary is planned for Thursday, October 18, 2012 from 5:30-7:30p.m. at the San Bernardino International Airport in Hanger 763. Opportunities are available for underwriting this event. 3) There are currently many open State appointments. The Inland Empire deserves representation and qualified individuals are encouraged to consider these openings.

Larry Sharp discussed and summarized information regarding the bankruptcy proceedings of the city of San Bernardino.
The formula and examples of San Bernardino city pensions for police and fire department employees was discussed. The California Controllers office web site has information on employee pay and benefits.
