Location:    East Valley Water District – Sterling Natural Resources Center, 25318 5th Street, San Bernardino, CA   92408

Attire:        Much of the tour is outdoors and in an active construction site.  There will be quite a bit of walking. Long sleeved shirts, pants/jeans, and hard sole, closed toe shoes are required.  No open toe shoes will be permitted. Personal Protective Gear is required and will be provided by the District.

RSVP:         Sue Harrison at sharrison@inlandaction.com or 909 363-6411, by June 1, 2023.  Members, alternates, and their guests are welcomed.

Our meeting will be a special off-site meeting at the East Valley Water District’s Sterling Natural Resource Center (SNRC) in San Bernardino.  The facility opened to the public in July 2022, providing outdoor green spaces, picnic areas, and an indoor community center for conservation workshops and special events.  Our meeting will include a tour of the Sterling Natural Resource Center water treatment facility, which is nearing completion of construction.  The Sterling Natural Resource Center exemplifies a state-of-the-art design that has been created to develop a new space for the community to gather.  It has become a model for public projects around the world where a highly technical facility incorporates a community centric focus in the design.
