Vernon Bridge, the first step in order to improve and completely rebuild. 3) Ken Coate, Chair of the Appointments Committee reported on their meeting held on January 29, 2021. The group discussed the importance of Inland Empire representation on State Boards and Commissions and expanded their focus to include regional commissions and boards. Of the more than 150 openings at least 20 of them are very important to our region. Committee members will each select their top five to bring back to the group and discuss possible candidates. Inland Action can influence, serve as a facilitator, and provide resources to applicants during the arduous process. The Committee will also lend support to re-appointments so as to retain those already serving. Ken will co-ordinate with Lou Monville from the Monday Morning Group who serves as their Appointment Committee Chair. 4) Eric Ustation reported that San Manuel’s Small Business Relief Fund was distributed to 50 diverse small businesses across the County. Each business received $20,000. The Tribe is very pleased they could give back to the community in this way.
