Let’s celebrate the end of this election season with a candid reflection of what led to one of the most unusual elections in the history of the U.S. Dr. Graeme Auton has been Professor of Government at the University of Redlands since 1987. Auton is a procative, unabashed authority on international political issues. Dr. Auton was a NATO Research Fellow and a Ford Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard’s Center for International Affairs. He worked for the U.S. Arms Control and Disarmament Agency in Washington, Brussels and Vienna. In 2006 he undertook a research visit to the Russian Far East, and in the fall of 2007 he spent four months in South Korea teaching international security studies to graduate students at Kyung-Hee University, Seoul, while working on a book on Northeast Asian regionalism. He is the author of The Foreign Policies of Germany, France and Britain, editor of the volume Arms Control and European Security, and articles on Sakhalin Island and the Russian government’s energy policies.
