Major Daniel Henderson, Officer of The Salvation Army in the Inland Empire, has navigated the system, established highly successful programs to move families from homelessness to self-sufficiency, and helped those families to leave homelessness permanently. His presentation on the need for a broad spectrum approach to homelessness is timely and inspires hope for the future of our communities. The Salvation Army has been doing the most good, for those in the most need, throughout the Inland Empire since 1887.
Homelessness is a growing and continuing concern in our communities. Federal, State, local agencies and non- profits have many solutions including rapid rehousing, temporary locations, shelters, and transitional housing. The question is, what is the best course of action needed to provide assistance and resources to those in the most need.
