Minutes 

Present:  Deborah Barmack, Peter Barmack, Carole Beswick, Erin Brinker, Ken Coate, Ron Griffin, Dick Hart, Scott Hofferber, Matthew Issac, Mark Kaenel, Lowell King, Pam Langford, Temetry Lindsey, John Mirau, Beverly Powell, John Prentice, Susan Rice, Larry Sharp, Paul Shimoff, Wendy Strack, Steve von Rajcs, Phil Waller, A.J. Announcements:   1) The 2014 San Bernardino State of the County event will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at the Citizen’s Business Bank Arena located at 4000 E. Ontario Center Pkwy, Ontario, CA at 4:30p.m. Please use the link for registration and further information https://www.eventbrite.com/e/state-of-the-county-2014-tickets-94787080712) The Water Education Foundation will present a Sea to Sierra Water Tour by train April 10-11, 2014.  Described as a rolling seminar on California water issues, the tour will begin in San Francisco by privately reserved rail car and will travel from the edge of the San Francisco Bay through the channels of the Delta, past Central Valley farmland, growing cities, historic mining areas and into the snowy Sierra Mountain range.  Registration is $545.00 per person, single occupancy room; $475.00 each for two people sharing a room.  Registration includes round trip train travel from Emeryville, CA to Reno, NV, overnight accommodations in Reno, and all meals on the tour.  For more information and registration, please go to their web site: http://www.watereducation.org/toursdetail.asp?id=2990 .   3) The Executive Committee members are invited to a meeting with the Mayor of San Bernardino and the City Manager on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 8:15a.m.  4)  The 5th Annual Education Summit will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014 from 1p.m. to 3p.m. at the Performing Arts Center of Baldwin Park.  For further information please use the link provided http://origin.library.constantcontact.com/download/get/file/1107990540689-89/CSBA+Region+23+Ed+Summitt+_1_.pdf  5) The Monday Morning Group has completed their trip to Sacramento and will share their State agenda and issues with Inland Action. 6) Committee chairs and Co-chairs were reminded of the issues and related paperwork deadlines for the Washington, D.C. trip.
