Inland Action, Inc., and the Inland Empire Economic Partnership (IEEP), both non partisan, non-profit groups of business leaders from San Bernardino and Riverside Counties have rallied behind a comprehensive draft redistricting maps that divides fewer cities, creates more compact seats, preserves minority representation, and keeps the Inland Empire as a single region.

Your maps look pretty rational for the most part, good job.
An exception is the plan to draw Chino Hills into a district with Rancho Cucamonga, Apple Valley, and Hesperia. This is completely ludicrous. Chino Hills has little in common with these cities from any point of view that I can think of, there’s not even really a direct freeway route between them.
If you revise your maps, I’d say consider adding Chino Hills to something containing Diamond Bar, Pomona, or Chino as these are the closest communities of interest in my opinion, being a resident of Chino Hills since 1996.

Why does nearly everybody want to lump San Bernardino and Rancho Cucamonga into the same senate and assembly district? As a resident of San Berdo I don’t like it and the public comments at Wedrawthelines indicate the Cucamongans dont like it either. Just put San Bernardino, Rialto, Colton, and West Highland in the same assembly district! Nice and compact! Then extend a bit east and west for the senate district. Easy!
